Readers sound off on Bill Cosby, Kaepernick and the Supreme Court

Bronx: It seems there are a lot of white people who have a problem with Colin Kaepernick’s protest. It’s said he’s disrespecting the national anthem, the flag, the military, veterans, police, etc. In case one is unaware, his protest is about social injustice. In case one simply doesn’t care what his angle is, then one should just admit to being racist and say as much; don’t make up stuff about him. On that note, I’m running a survey on that very subject. The question is this: How many white people would like to be treated the same way blacks are treated? Answer truthfully. If one doesn’t want to be treated the same as blacks, it’s because one is well aware that blacks aren’t treated the same as white people are. That’s what Kaepernick’s protest is about.
