Photos/Video: Celebrity Exhibition Netball Match


The Bermuda Netball Association [BNA] hosted their Celebrity Exhibition Match tonight [Sept 29], with local celebrities showcasing their netball skills at CedarBridge Academy in front of a loud engaged crowd.

Despite a valiant effort by their opponents, team 9-Parish Ballers were tonight’s champions, winning the match 20-17 after four quarters of play. Team 9-Parish Ballers wore the blue bibs while team Gombey Squad wore the red bibs. Proceeds from tonight’s event are in aid of the BNA’s National Program.

Team 9-Parish Ballers was coached by Danielle Raynor and was to include players Abera Outerbridge, Chaquita Simmons, Chris Crumpler, Chris Furbert Jr, Debra Saltus, Dominique Richardson, EarI Basden, Jah Simmons, Jasmine Patterson, Jekon Edness, ShiVaughn Lee and Nick Kempe.

Team Gombey Squad was coached by Merle Parfitt and was to include players Jason Hayward, Jaylynn Hines, Karlandra Smith, Lamont Marshall, Latonae Smith, Marissa Brangman, Nadanja Bailey, Nikkita Robinson, Robert Wilson, Shannon Burgess, Tarik Smith, Teresa Perozzi and Zakiyah Durham.
